  1. Hi Fr Jack–

    I was poking around the JRH website and ran across this article you wrote for the Compass. I really enjoyed it and the uplifting message that you encourage us to remember. It’s true–I usually seem to place myself with the goats, as I recognize my failings and sin more often than the goodness I continue to practice because of the grace I receive from God. Sometimes I wonder if this thought process is what will keep me in purgatory before I’m allowed to walk through the pearly gates. I guess I need a few more retreats!! That said, I look forward to seeing you again on retreat #18 this April!! And thank you for sharing your wisdom.
